Nisa Homes Scarborough Fundraising Iftar

Since launching our Nisa Homes Mississauga in 2015, we have seen a continued increase in women and children from the East end of the GTA applying to come to Nisa Homes. At times this number was as high as 2 applicants a week from the East end alone!

While we have been able to assist many at the Mississauga home, we recognize the barriers that often stop them from coming as they would have to uproot their children, leave their friends and family, and settle in an entirely new area. Given the trauma they have experienced, this can be extremely challenging.

Additionally, our Nisa Homes Mississauga is almost always full, but by opening another location in the GTA, we are hoping to alleviate the pressure off the home and ensure we are turning away fewer women and children due to lack of space.
